For years the government has had grants and financial programs in place to aid disabled people however in recent years the government has been adding new grants and schemes available for disabled people to receive improving their livelihoods.
A very wide range of government grants are available now covering various illness and accidents all relevant to the type of job on the location. These days disability benefices can revive there money in the form of:
- Temporary electronic payments
- Permanent electronic payments
- Cash payments
- Lump sums
How long is the waiting period for government grants and loans?
Benefits are generally paid for up to 6 months of disability in the given year. However when benefits are applied for, there can be up to 7 days waiting period in which no funds are paid. After the completion of a successful application on the eighth day fund will be transferred into the bank account of the successful applicant, if that is the method in which they choose to receive funding.
Children with disabled parents could receive government funding too
Children with parents who are disabled or who have become disabled through injury can be eligible to receive certain amounts of funding from the government. If the parent/ guardian wish to have funding sent to their children as well, this can be possible as long as the applicant for the fund is already receiving some form of government funding. The child of the parent/ guardian receiving the benefit also has to be under the age of eighteen, still rendering them children and not legal adults.
The amount a child will receive from the government grants and loans scheme is all relevant to the amount already being received by the applicant, (parent/ guardian). The full amount a child is eligible for is up to %50 of what is already received by the parent/ guardian. However reading from government statistics, quarter of the full amount of financial support received by disability beneficiaries is the general amount children receive under this particular government grant program.
